Excelerator Ribbon does not appear
There are two known reasons for this issue.
- Administrator Privileges were not used when installing setups.
- MS Office 64 bit sometimes encounters this issue
Try solution 1 first if that does not succeed then try solution 2.
Solution 1: Register the adxloader.dll using the command prompt.
- Check which version of windows you are running.
- Check which version of MS Office you are running.
- Close MS Excel.
64 Bit Windows with Ms Office 64 bit
- Run C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe as Administrator
- Locate the file ADXLoader64.dll and change to that directory -
Standard installation
C:\Program Files\Codis Excelerator\Excelerator - Unregister (if upgrading) type regsvr32 -u adxloader64.dll and press enter
- Register type Regsvr32 adxloader64.dll and press enter.
- Close the window
64 Bit Windows with MS Office 32 bit
- Run C:\windows\SysWOW64\cmd.exe as Administrator
- Locate the file ADXLoader.dll and change to that directory -
Standard installation
C:\Program Files(x86)\Codis Excelerator\Excelerator - Unregister (if upgrading) type Regsvr32 -u adxloader.dll and press enter.
- Register type Regsvr32 adxloader.dll and press enter.
- Close the window
32 Bit Windows
- Run Command prompt as Administrator.
- Locate the file adxloader.dll and change to that directory - Standard Installation
C:\Program Files\Codis Excelerator\Excelerator - Unregister (if upgrading) type Regsvr32 -u adxloader.dll and press enter.
- Register type Regsvr32 adxloader.dll and press enter.
- Close the window
Load MS Excel and check if the ribbon is now present.
Solution 2: Manage the Add-ins in Excel.
Run MS Excel as Administrator
From MS Excel access the Excel Add-in Manager.
Choose Add-ins – Manage select COM Add-Ins.
If Excelerator appears on the list but is not ticked – Tick the box to enable Codis Excelerator

If Excelerator does not appear on the list – click Add –
Browse and locate the file adxloader.dll (adxloader64.dll for MS Office 64)
Standard installation it would be in either
C:\Program Files\Codis Excelerator\Excelerators
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Codis Excelerator\Excelerators
select adxloader.DLL (adxloader64.DLL for MS Office 64) and add.
Access the log file:
Accessing the log file, which captures the errors that occur resulting in the ribbon not appearing upon installation (as well as other errors), can provide more information and help in diagnosing the problem.
